Her takes on "With One Look," "New Ways to Dream," and "As If We Never Said Goodbye" blew the rafters off the ceiling of the St. James Theatre.

I don't ever recall attending a show where the star got two standing ovations in the first act alone.

From her acting to her powerful singing, Nicole truly embodies Norma Desmond, the star!

Nicole's vocals are in a category all her own. The minute I got home from the show, I immediately downloaded the cast recording because I needed to hear Nicole's renditions again.

I then took an online deep dive of other theatrical songs Nicole has performed and I was mesmerized by her renditions of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina," "Phantom of the Opera," "What I Did For Love," and "Beauty & The Beast."

I really hope Nicole releases an album of all Broadway tunes because these are the songs that truly showcase her talent!

I wasn't that familiar with Nicole or her music prior to seeing Sunset Blvd. I knew one Pussycat Doll song, "Don't Cha." 

After seeing Nicole in the show, I am definitely a huge fan of hers!

I was also drawn in by Tom Francis' portrayal of "Joe Gillis." He brought a certain charm and sexiness to the role that I had not seen before.

The way he performed "Sunset Boulevard" at the top of Act 2 is one of the most fun ways I have ever seen, especially with the 21st century technology that is used throughout the show.

Instead of an elaborate set and costumes, I thought the show made a brilliant choice to weave cinematography in and out throughout the musical. 

Another one of my favorite ways the show used the camera was through all the backstage shots they show. I truly felt I was getting an inside look as to what happens behind-the-curtain.

The film projections of the cast brought a new dimension to the story as well as their performances because it allowed me to see their facial expressions in completely different way.

If you have never seen Sunset Blvd. before, this is one production you don't want to miss!

If you have seen multiple productions, this revival gives a bold new take on the timeless classic.
